Nikon 1000mm lens anyone ??
Was doing the usual surfing through the photography section on ebay and came across this....
Not that i can afford it but with a maximum aperture of f11, this surely can't be much use unless your always in bright daylight.  Nikon 1000mm |

It's not just the maximum aperture its the only aperture so not very bright for focusing manually which on a 1000mm lens will be a real issue! I remember having the 600mm F8 years ago. Very compact and light for the reach but horrible to focus and in those days nealy always needed 400-800 ASA which was G R A I N Y. Looked cool in Heat though when Bob De-Niro used one.
