Nikon 55~200}~4.5 6ged
Hi there, my lense as stopped auto focus at points, and become noisey
 , so i have to use manual, phoned Nikon, a clean would cost more than the lense, could i try a spray down the sides of the lense, to try and free any debris? if so, is there a product out there?many thanks |

Well, it seems you have nothing to lose but what to use I don't know. Somehow I don't think WD40 would be appropriate.

I,m with stepheno here,haven,t heard of a spray, but think on.
I,f it works in manual mode,thats all we had for years and it,s no hardship for me. I f you spray some WD40 or whatever,it is sure to get on the glass.  Then you have a buggered piece of nothing.
