Onestop Digital are currently selling this lens for £284..compared to £350 at Jessops for example.
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G IF-ED VR Lens Strikes me as being a pretty good price and I am sorely tempted to blow my Christmas bonus on it! Onestop are are usually pretty good aren't they? |

Or you could go for the non VR AND a nifty fifty AND have £110 left to spend on your OH.

There were some very good images posted up taken with the 70-300 recently, but I can't remember where. It was a thread started on the subject of lenses, I think. |

Arrrghhhh! One-stop were supposed to be back open for business today but due to "unforseen circumstance" they're not opening until 7th January. I WANT MY LENS AND I WANT IT NOW!!
