Officially bonkers

Big excitement in the household (umm, well me...) Postman delivered my new camera bag (Lowepro Rezo 160AW) and sandisk extreme card, as recommended the other day.
The beloved bag now houses my new Canon 50mm lens as well. Sadly, none of my friends share my excitement and my daughter, thinks I'm nuts. With some forethought I bought hubby a sandisk card as well, just to keep him on side..
I think its time I went back to work..

Re: Officially bonkers

Well I'll be happy to join in with your excitement even if your family and friends won't.

...I love getting bits in the mail even if they arn't a sexy as a big new lens or whatever, I just had a cheap tripod gimbal head arrive on the door mat about 45 minutes ago which looks pretty good for the price I paid. I'm also hankering after a new bag aswell, quick access to my 40D + grip with 100-400L IS attached is my primary concern so the Lowepro Toploader 75 is favourite at the moment.

Congrats on the new bit's of kit, may there be many more!

Oh I'm sure there will be much more! At the moment I am favouring Amazon as my source, but if anyone has any other suggestions, I would like a tripod and eventually a flash. I am still playing with the capacity of the 50mm lens - so it is very much early days. The good news is that my 'poohpahing ' daughter has ventured out today with the Nikon Coolpix - her composition is excellent. I might persuade her to post eventually...
