Cool Old Lenses for Konica SLR

Have a number of good old lenses for my FILM camera (Konica AutoReflex T,) and am wondering if there are newer DIGITAL cameras that accept them. Konica/Minolta sounds like it might, but I have not yet had opportunity to try to see if they fit. Really thinking of anothe older used one, Digital this time.

I'd expect that Electronic features may not work, but I just do not wish to spend all the money replcaing what it seems I already own!

Any help is appreciated.

P.S.: It's a little bit cooler here in Florida than usual. We are seeing overnight lows in the low-mid 40°F range, and highs in the mid 60°F range (6°C to 19°C) If it is really cold there, come here for a vacation (holiday,) and visit Mickey Mouse!

Re: Old Lenses for Konica SLR

I guess it has to be worth trying a Minolta or Sony body.

You can probably get adaptors that will allow the lenses to fit on newer bodies. Over here there is one such company

SRB Photographic

These guys will do custom work too. There must be similar companies in the USA.

Thanks,
I'll try that, or look for an adapter for a Digital SLR Body. Had talk to a guy at the Pawn Shop about testing these with some of the Camera Bodies he had, but the promising one was sold before I could.

Re: Old Lenses for Konica SLR

I use canon, I have bought old lenses by the box load a total of about thrity five to forty of um. Film lenses are bright and Great for making fast shots or find light for closed down aperture shots. I have 12 good lenses out of those with adapters for just about ever modern camera made. If you haven't found what you need I wouldn't give up. I use a Monolta lense with a extended lense adapter to clear your mirror box and it works great. A side note I have four older film cameras that came with the lenses i use to see what fits what. So many older lenses or not what you think they are when it comes to the right camera and now atleast I can check. Ask someone you know maybe. It's worth the effort. Good luck.
