Panasonic PV-GS400

Hi, I have a panasonic pv-gs400. The video is stellar but I have some issues with the camera. It only has 4mp. Is there a lens or adjustments I can make to improve the quality of my pictures? It does a fabulous job with macros. Everything else isn't crisp enough tho.
Thanks for your time and input.

If a macro looks good, there's usually no reason why other pics won't. Arguably my camera is "only" 3.4mp, so it won't necessarily be that!

If shots aren't crisp it's usually focus or camera shake (without getting into the quality of the lens or size of sensor)
