Pelican 1300 hard case for D80?

I am looking for a hard case, maximum price of $40 bucks, and so far I found a Pelican 1300 waterproof case, with foam inserts. Heck it even floats with 10 Lbs of gear in it (maximum) and has a pressure release valve for altitude changes.

It's interior dimensions are 9.87" long x 7.00" wide x 6.12" deep. Will this be sufficient for a D80, an 18-70mm lens, and possibly a lens like a 55-200mm VR?

Re: Pelican 1300 hard case for D80?

Short answer, yes!

My D80, on its back in the bag with the 18-70mm lens on the body, with a 70-300 VR standing up, takes up 8" long x 5.5" wide x 6.5" deep. Lay the zoom on its side, and it's within your requirements.
