Pentax Film SLR and lenses

Hi,

I have a friend who has a Pentax film slr MZ 7.

Does anyone on here know if the new pentax lenses which seem to be for Digital SLR's would still work on a film SLR?

I assume they do but im sure there's people on here know more about it than i do.

The key is going to be the mount, but lenses specifically designed for crop sensors might not give the full field of view.
