Can any one recommend a printer for home printing. Have researched Canons, HP and Epson and looking to spend 150. Would have liked an A3 but realistically looking smaller. For my use and display. Thoughts welcome. Regards Russell

Re: Printers

I've always had Canon printers and was considering an A3 before I bought my AIO MP640 for about 135.

You can get A3 printers at very reasonable prices now but they are bigger than an A4 one and I am short of space, so if I want bigger I use a print company. Probably cheaper than printing your own too.

Re: Printers

I've a Canon Pixma IP4600 I think. It's very good but printing photos really drinks ink.

Like Dabs says I use a print company for most photos.

Re: Printers

I own an HP multifunction printer. The brand speaks for itself really. As for 'eating ink' problem, I buy one size fits all refillable kits from my local supermarket. So far had no issues at all and must say no print company can replace the joy of printing out pics yourself.

Re: Printers

I use a Canon iX4000 and would recommend it if it was a current model. It has been superceded by the iX6550 which can be had for 169.99 at PCWorld . If I was buying now this is the one I would get.
