Quick AF Lens question
I have recently purchased a lens from MPB which was described on the website as a Canon EF fit, so I bought it.
Now I have the lens on the lens it's self it says it is a AF. Can I use this on my Canon 400D? will I get all the functionality from the lens, or should I send it back as "Goods not as described"? |

Re: Quick AF Lens question
Can you tell us a bit more?
What make is the lens, and what does it say on it - on the barrel or around the front of the lens? |

Re: Quick AF Lens question
I think the misunderstanding has arisen from the EF/AF.
EF means it will fit certain cameras canon cameras such as the 400D,450D,30D,40D etc. AF means it has Auto Focus; 2 different things. What lens have you bought? |

Re: Quick AF Lens question
Is it the Tamron55-200 f4-5.6 Di 11 Macro Canon fit.If it is then it will be ok for the 400D Dreamland?.
If the lens has EF in the code then it will fit most Canon DLSR camera bodies includiing the Full Frame Sensor ones. The EF-S code will only fit the smaller sensor camera bodies ie 300D,350D, 400D &450D etc. They won't fit the full frame sensor bodies. Hope you didn't pay more than £69 for it though.
