Remote Cord Recommendations

I have a Nikon D300s.

I have a small list of things to get so I am looking for advice.

When it comes to remote cords does anyone have any recommendations?

For instance Nikon do the MC-36 but it is corded and not wireless.

I am struggling at the moment a little to find wireless ones that are compatible.

I am think that I might get some good shots wirelessly for instance by setting my camera on a tripod near my bird feeders for instance.

So does anyone have any thoughts.

I got remote cords for both my D70s and my D300 from e-bay at under 5 each inc P&P! They work just fine.

I've also got a wireless remote - Phottix or Photixx (I think!) and I'm pretty sure that they are also availble on e-bay for little money.

Wow that is cheap.

I was about to mention the Hama Wireless remotes at 40 but even they seem expensive! Thanks.
