SB800 - What do I need to go Wireless?
With the SB800 what do I need to go wireless with :
(a) A single flashgun? and (b) Multiple flashguns? Also, to shoot off-camera, but not necessarily wireless, what do I need, and how does it all work? |

Re: SB800 - What do I need to go Wireless?
That's one advantage of the D300, it has an onboard flash that you can use in commander mode to control an off cam SB800 / 600.
An SU-800 does the same thing, but a bit easier to work with, and no preflash. It's basically a wireless flash controller...

You put me on to that book in another thread I think, but it was on pre-order when I looked (new edition). Or maybe that was another book. Anyway, will go look again, 'cos the SB800 manual was definitel written for people who are not new to flash! |
