Re: Screen protector

I like the EXiM SPUC screen protectors...

EXiM screen protector for Canon EOS 450D 450 D 450-D on eBay (end time 14-Oct-09 18:25:14 BST)

There are usually a few eBay sellers with them, but I can only find this one at the moment. I've used this type on a 10D, 30D, 40D and 5DII, and they go on with no hassle and no bubbles!

Re: Screen protector

Not so important for a DSLR camera but worth their weight in gold for a compact camera screen especially when it gets stuffed into pockets /handbags etc that may contain a bunch of keys.
My answer, the peel off type and don't forget they have two peel off skins.Once its on the screen you have to peel off the outer film.Leaving this on gives the impression it has bubbles trapped.

Re: Screen protector

I use JRC ones which I really like. I got these from HK about 18 months ago. A pack of 10 cost just under 3 including postage.

Unfortunately they now have gone up in price to a massive 3.40 !!!!

10 X SCREEN PROTECTOR for Canon 450D Rebel Xsi EOS on eBay (end time 27-Oct-09 03:00:18 GMT)

There were several other sellers I used this search in Ebay

canon 450d screen protector -glass

I have used 5 over 2 years on two cameras and have given 2 sets awys so while I think about it I will get some more for myself

AQ

Your a star, I've been scouring ebay to find the JRC ones and had drawn a blank.

I used them on my 40D and they are definately the best. I've just ordered some for my 5d2 because the top display is bigger on the 5d2.

The JRC ones are the only ones I've found that have a top screen protector as well as the main one

Nearly all do yes, a click on plastic one except the D3 where you have to buy it seperately. But most people do. It's made of very tough glass and scratches are not an issue but it can still break. The Canon 1DIIs are notorious for getting broken LCDs with the press guys.
