Sekonic L-308S light meter

I am looking to buy a light meter that I will only be using occasionally so I don't want to spend a fortune on one. I have been looking at reviews of the Sekonic L-3-8S which seems to be as much as I will need at a decent price (I can get it for £99.99 from Onestop-Digital) but just wondered if any of you have got one and can give me an unbiased review.

Cheers,
Rob

Re: Sekonic L-308S light meter

I bought a Sekonic 308 a few months ago, secondhand off ebay, and I am very impressed with it.
I did not try it out properly until Jan 1st this year, when I took some photo's in a old disused slate quarry.Shutter speeds were between 15 and 30 seconds due to the low light levels, and the meter got the exposure right first time, every time.
One of the photo's taken can be seen :- :-http://www.pixalo.com/gallery/showph...=17846&cat=500

I was planning on buying a light meter with spot metering, but as I will not use it very often, I could not justify spending a couple of hundred pounds on one.
I have only had limited use of the lightmeter, and I have not tried it with flash yet, but I would I definitely recommend the 308.
