sigma 100-300 f4
Been looking at this lens as I`m in the market for a medium range zoom. Have read some positive reviews and wondered if anyone here had any experience with this lens.
Or any lens in the 300 range for about £500 - £600 pounds |

I am afraid I don't have it and haven't used it. Optically the slower but cheaper 70-300 VR is very good and adds VRII which is very good indeed and better than the one extra F stop but doesn't help with moving subjects where the extra optical stop will be much more help. I have used the latter and was pleasantly impressed.
