sigma 105mm vs tamron 90mm

right im a bit confused i want a macro lens and i have limited my choice to a sigma 105mm or the tamron 90mm i would like any info of peoples experience if possible with some sample shots. i think im swaying towards the tamron atm but not 100% i would be looking into shooting plants and insects also the odd portrait,

thanks

also the canon 100mm macro if possible

Something to consider is that the Tamron can also make a decent portrait lens if you're doing head shots or have enough space to move back a little. I wouldn't use a 105 for portraits though...so perhaps the Tamron serves more of a dual purpose?

Well you see that I have to disagree with, I use the 105mm all the time and have done for ages. See my portfolio. Both lens are very good. My portraits seems to stand up well. So if I was choosing I would go for the Sigma.

I guess it just comes down to which one you've actually got
Don't you find yourself limited for space sometimes with the 105? I do occasionally with the 90, one of the reasons I got the nifty
