Stacking Cokin P-Series Filters

I dunno if this is normal or not but I have an issue when I stack 2 or more filters. Namely things go red...

The clouds where not that colour I know the colours look sunsety/sunrisy but the shot was taken around 1pm today and I'm not that far North

the filters are described as: -

P121S Gradual Neutral Grey G2 Soft (ND8)
P120 Gradual Neutral Grey G1

any ideas or should I just not be stacking these?

Re: Stacking Cokin P-Series Filters

Hi

I have had similar problems using Cokin filters. Very bad colour cast/shifts. I keep to one only now and manually adjust afterwards in CS. After reading several reports on the web it seems that it is down to poor quality from Cokin. It appears that one has to use Lee or other "expensive" filters if multiple mode usage is required. I suppose it is another example of " You get what you pay for"

Re: Stacking Cokin P-Series Filters

I have the cokin system but use Lee filters, although I stack them regularly I have yet to suffer with colour casts. I know it doesn't help much but it might help if you decide to replace your filters with alternatives.
