TC question re DOF & IS
Am I correct on following assumptions if I used a 2x convertor with let's say a 70-200 f/2.8 IS lens ?
- DOF will be equivalent to f/5.6 on 140mm-400mm focal range - IS will work in same manner |

I wouldn't use a 2X on a zoom, i only use mine on my primes, 1.4X is good

Dunno if cranon do one but Nikons 1.7x is the highest recommendation the x2 is over the hedge material,
Plus Dave did u see the moon last night i got some pretty good pics of it stood in a field pitch black armed with the 70 200vr and the tripod and remote etc. Now all i got a do is work out how i post the dam things on here?  Knbow i should have kept my 105 macro with all these big hairy spiders in the garden. |
