which tripod

i am looking on buying a new tripod soon for the trip and just wonder if anyone could offer some advise on which one is the best i have been looking at the gorilla tripods online but have yet to visit the camera shop to see them, i am not sure but i think that they might be to small.
i would need something for landscapes thats light but sturdy as i may be going trekking, so would also want something that i can adjust in perculiar ways so that maybe i can put the tripod over a rock and between a tree if you get what i mean

Re: which tripod

Bristol Cameras do Velbon carbon fibre tripods at good prices. They usually throw in a pan/tilt head free too.

I've got a 535 and it weights 50% less than my old Slik 88.

Re: which tripod

Yeh I could advice the Velbon as well. I've got the 635 and uptill now, I'm still very chuffed with it. And they are not expensive either from Bristol Camera's.
