Which Tripod ?

Hi, I'm looking for a decent tripod. I'm close to buying a manfrotto 190 pro with the 486rc2 ball head. Anybody got any better sugguestions ?

Welcome to the forum.

I have an 055PRO, and went for that over the 190 for the extra height. That head looks a good option too.

i have the 190 and 486rc2 combo and love them, i didnt think i really needed the height (only 5'11" see) and wanted to save some weight.

I've got the 190 proB with the new 804RC2 head on it and find it a good combo, sturdy and relyable... also, with the tripod at full stretch and the camera on top it sits just at eye level for me and I'm 6ft.
