tripod + ball head
I miss really now a good tripod and ball head .. what will you suggest ? .. manfrotto ? which one ?

I would recommend a gitzo tripod, theye are lightweight and strong.
The choice of head comes down to what it will be used for. A ball head would be a good start for general photography. |

any modell for gitzo tripod ? i mostly use it for macro thren being able to shoot from the top will be usefull

I use the gitzo explorer, it is the ideal tripod for macro work.
Attach the gitzo off center ball head and your away. |

Yes, thats the setup I have.
They are more than adequate to support 1D and large telezoom. I have had the 10D with grip and Sigma 800mm on mine. I would suggest getting the manfrotto 393 head for large lenses though, see LINK. HTH |
