UV Filters

Hi, I have been trawling the internet to find a decent UV Filter for my recent new lens and I have read that a lot of people go for the B+W filters. I have tried to find some tech spec on the B+W filters but I have only found a small amount of information on them. Can anyone give me a bit of feedback on these:

B+W 72mm UV 010 Haze Filter Coated NEW F-PRO * on eBay, also, Filters, Digital Camera Accessories, Photography (end time 14-Jul-08 09:34:50 BST)

as the price looks quite reasonable.

Re: UV Filters

I don;t know anything about them and they look to be a cheap price. I think you would be better going for a Hoya Pro 1.

Re: UV Filters

They look like a good price. I have the Hoyas and B&W on different lenses and they seem to perform about the same. The B&W ones are deeper but they have an easier to wipe finish and feel better made. If they don't vingnette I prefer the B&W.

Re: UV Filters

I think that both Hoya and B&W are good, but I have a downer on eBay right now because of all the fake goods being sold there. If the eBay price is well below anyone else's, I would be suspicious.

Re: UV Filters

I replaced my Hoya Pro UV filters with the B+W one's which I find wipe clean easier and are better built.
