Velbon Tripods

Hi all

Im thinking of getting a Velbon CF tripod. WE are selling the CF 530 PRO for £125 (RRP £250). I was thinking of getting this along with a QHD-41Q Ball and Socket Head with Quick Release (£39).

Is this a good buy?

Thanks in advance.

Joe this tripod comes with a head which is suitable for most types of photography (it used too when I was looking at it anyway).

I have the same tripod here, its very stable and with it being carbon fibre is also light and easy to transport. the head I have on mine is the PH-157G, which I got free as aprt of the deal.

Overall very impressed with this combination for the price I paid.

I hope that helps?

Thanks Steve, yes that does help.

However, I have just ordered a SB600, so will hold off on the tripod for a bit.

Cheers
