Wide angle?

Hi

It's that time again.

I have 300, perhaps 350 for a wide-angle lens for my D300s.

It would be nice to approach the Sigma 105mm for quality, which always feels (much nicer than) the Nikkor 35mm lens I have.

Should I save up a bit more?

The lens would be used for general landscape work (+clouds.

The D300s is a stonking camera btw, D200 is rarely used now.

(which reminds me the lens needs to be "DX" format because "full-frame" will be one day........)

Thoughts?

TIA

Re: Wide angle?

I've still got my Sigma 10-20 that I used with my D300. Gave great results and there is now a newer model that is a bit faster. Tokina do an11-16 f2.8 and Simpbow has one so he might be able to comment on it.
