Wide-angle Suggestions

I've been looking around for a Wide-Angle lens.

I like the look of the Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 EX DC HSM

Anyone have good reports, bad reports or alternative suggestion?

Re: Wide-angle Suggestions

The Sigma is a great lens

There are now two versions. The dearer one has a constant f3.5 I think.

Re: Wide-angle Suggestions

Found it:-

Sigma 10-20mm F3.5 EX DC HSM

£50 more than the one above. £450 versus £400

Re: Wide-angle Suggestions

Another vote for the Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 - had some OK shots with it!

Re: Wide-angle Suggestions

10 - 20 is a great lens, I still have one and love it. However I do now prefer the Tokina 11-18 2.8 as it's better optically and the 2.8 aperture comes in handy sometimes for handheld interiors. The downside is obviously the zoom range and it's not an HSM lens.

Re: Wide-angle Suggestions

Right I've made a purchase.

I am now the proud owner of a new Sigma 10-20mm f3.5 EX DC HSM.

Looking forward to taking a few pictures.
