"Brand New SLR".......would that include either the D3X or 5DMKII as they would just be upgrades of existing bodies?

In the Canon camp:-
Upgrades - 5D mk.II or 1D mk.IIIn? New - 3D or 7D? (rumoured for years!, seriously doubt it) ...it'll probably a Nikon though, isn't the D80 due for a rehash soon as well?.

I still think it will be Nikon with Canon holding out until September with anything new (5DMKII
)Would be nice personally to have a 1DMKIIIN  although I was told something new for sports photographers from Canon would be out being tested at the Beijing Olympics in August.

hmmmm came across this recently Amazon.co.uk: Canon EOS 5d Mark II Digital Field Guide: Charlotte K. Lowrie: Books so could well be the 5DmkII, these field guides ususually follow a fews months after a camera release! but then again who knows
