Bit of a vague title but its how my minds working, Ideally another Olympus over 6mpx , must be E series and four thirds fit.

Alternatively might look at a completely different make with at least one lense and the gubbins to work, ideally takeing CF cards as I have far too many to get something else.


Any ideas welcome, Modest budget so please don't give me an attack.

There are not so many Olympus bodies around, but I'm sure if you look there will be some.

Or Jag is selling his D40 and you can pick up 18-70 kit lenses for about £150 new or less for used.. Think it takes SD tho.

Stephen's suggestion looks good and you can also consider the Nikon D70/D70s - they take CF cards.

Yep, still have the D40 and will be including the 18-55mm lens I got with it. Have had a tentative offer for it, let me know if interested. Was thinking around £240 plus postage.

ooo that would have been tempting , I think its better to stick to the same type though as at weddings I can get awfully confused switching between cams let alone differing makes, its me age you know.

Have gone with the E500 from that shop, so please feel free to close the thread
