As above - this was an impulse buy last week for £260, but I really can't justify it as I already have a Metz MZ-3.

I've only bought some laptop RAM off here, but I have bags of feedback on POTN and Fred Miranda.

I can post a picture if you like, but it really is indistinguishable from new.

Thanks for the heads up, though eGears are based in the US, so if there are any problems, you need to ship stuff back to the US. . .

Just curious why it only has 6 month guarantee if it was bought just last week? Does it not come with the remainder of the 12 month guarantee?

When was it bought, will you be able to provide a receipt and did you take advantage of the recent Canon cashback offer? If not I assume its fully boxed and the barcode is still intact?

There is a UK based operation of eGears (which is the site I looked at): Welcome to eGears! Your best source for the latest digital gear at the lowest prices!

I was just commenting on the price differential really. Another example is:
Canon 580 EX MK II Speedlite Flash Gun at camerabox where they are charging £249.99.

I just think you're asking a bit too much for a second hand item, really, that's all (otherwise I would be interested as I'm looking for a flashgun...)

LUCY, I DON'T KNOW WHETHER YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED, BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A FLASHGUN, I HAVE A METZ 45 CL-4 , NOT SURE WHAT CAMERA YOU USE BUT SHOULD BE COMPATIBLE WITH MOST CAMERAS.

Thanks Woody. I am really looking for a Canon Speedlite model but can't make my mind up between the 430EX or 580EX.

I haven't really used a flashgun in anger before, so am borrowing a friend's Canon Speedlite 430EX next week to shoot a local netball tournament in the evening. That might help with my decision.

Hi, sorry if it wasn't clear - I bought it secondhand and the shop I bought it from gives a 6 month warranty on all used products. I hadn't even though to check, but the barcode is gone, which presumably means the person who originally bought it did get cashback from Canon.

No worries Lucy, though I was referring to the 'UK' operation, where they ship everything from the US (as unofficial imports, and have non-existent customer care).
