Laptop wanted
Don't suppose anyones got a laptop going, XP is fine its basically just for surfing and showing images at events
Thought I'd try for second hand before buying new |

Don't know if this helps but at the local computer fairs around here you can get a reasonbale spec. one for about £250 - 350. I have not looked at these in detail so I do not know if they are new or refurbished. It may be worth checking locally

Well I can get new for £300 so second hand was looking up to £200 just thought Id check around before commiting

For that price difference if the spec is the same or similar I would go with a new one if only for the guarentee. Laptops are difficult and expensive to repair if they go wrong.

Problem is prices have fallen so much in last year, that people have unrealistic expectations of value of their s/h laptop..... go new.

Quite , i bought the wife one about 4 years ago cost me a £1k, I just bought a new one for me 100 times quicker loads more memory etc for half of what i bought hers for, plus i got a 19inch screen.
Go new all day long try Ebuyer. Ive never had a prob with them. |
