Nikon D40 Body Only
All,
I have a Nikon D40 Body Only for sale. It's in absolute mint condition with no marks or scratches and has performed only 1777 shutter actions. Was purchased in June 07 and has warranty till June 08. Original receipt included. Camera has always been stored in a Lowepro case when not in use. Not for me but if there is anyone wanting to get in on the dSLR level of digital photography, this offer from JAG is definitely worth considering. You can't go wrong at this price

Remind me never to try and sell something on here in January. People obviously have all they want from Christmas! If JAG can't sell an excellent dSLR suitable for anyone wanting to get going in the world of quality digital photography at a price less than I paid for a compact for my wife for Christmas, then I am definitely hanging on to my gear LOL. £175 is a cracking price because knowing JAG, it will have been looked after very carefully as well.
I have no Nikon gear whatsoever being the Canon man I am but if I did I'd snap this up to keep as a spare body in the kitbag!

I'm off to Egypt a week on Saturday, but when I come back I may add the 18-55mm that came with it into the equation. As has been mentioned I might be better off advertising with a lens rather than without, which asks the question, what to replace it with? The Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR or the other suggestion the Nikon 18-70 mm f3.5-4.5G ED-IF AF-S DX Ian |

the 18-70 still has superior image quality to the 18-55 VR, and you get the nice further reach. Obviously I'm not being biased about my own kit....
