For sale: Angle-finder
I have a Seagull right-angle viewfinder that will fit on most Canon and Nikon SLR/DSLRs which is brand new but I ordered the wrong item. I wanted the magnified version to help me with focusing on macro work but I bouth the viewfinder that is not magnified.
However, it is beautifully clear and sharp and adjusts to +/- 4 dioptres to allow for focusing without needing glasses for many people. It is still in its box with the soft case and two adaptors. These allow use with eyepieces measuring 18mm, 20mm (no adaptor required) and 22mm. Just take off your camera's rubber eyepiece attachment and slip this anglefinder on. There is an instruction sheet written entirely in Chinese but frankly if you need an instruction sheet to use one of these I'd recommend you take up a different hobby! It is well-made with excellent optics. I have since bought the magnified version of the same thing by the same manufacturer and three different people have all compared this with the Canon original and we cannot find anything about it that is less quality.... except the Canon version costs £150! The viewfinder swivels through 360 degrees and allows you to hold your camera at lots of different angles. For example, looking down like with a waist-level viewfinder allowing you to get round down low without needing to visit a chiropractic afterwards to get your neck sorted out! So, if anyone is interested, I paid £27 including postage but will sell it for a tenner plus a couple of quid for postage. £12 really does represent excellent value but if you don't like it, I'll give you your item money back. Let me know if you are interested. Cheers, Rob
