Samsonite RUcksack
Selling my Samsonite rucksack as I just got a new tamrac cyberpack. This is basically the same as the famous Hama rucksacks which retail at £18 plus delivery.
Great condition with no tears, zips all working, all dividers present. Deep enough for a 20D with grip. Currently holding 20D/grip, 100-400, 100mm macro, 28-105, 17-40, most of the hoods, flash, plus all the odds and sods you usually acquire. Looking for £15 to include delivery. ![]() ![]()

like bl***y buses, nothing for ages then two at once LOL
yes I've got paypal and nochex but would prefer paypal to be honest. madpup, as you were first to reply if you're offering asking price you will get first refusal. Mr THX, no hard feelings, always a bit awkward this sort of thing. |

No hard feelings at this end - Just in the Forums I frequent asking someone "if they have a Paypal account" is not considered to be a deal closer ??
Dod did have to ask you if you were going to offer the asking price. Anyway enjoy your new camera bag fella

hmm,
i think a lesson could be learned here, ' i will buy this ' ....constitutes a sale.... ' will you take £** ' or any other type of question doesnt constitute a sale could sellers and buyers please be clear about their intentions in all sales , makes life easy for the rest of us, lol MyPix Last edited by MyPix; 06-02-2006 at 17:08. |

I think the T & Cs need adjusting regarding the market place. As MyPix says, The first to offer the asking price "should" take the item.. Just my 2p..

It is up to the person selling the goods who they choose to sell to. Personally if someone is asking for details it is not a guaranteed sale unlike someone seeing an item they want and at a price they are willing to pay and saying so, I would sell to the later everytime.
It is not up to us to tell people who they can and can't sell their old equipment to but once a deal is agreed then its only polite and right that it should be honoured by all parties involved.

WHat a fuss. I read

Although I double checked in the thread there was never a mention of a lower price, and on that basis I felt it was right to sell to madpup. |

Madpup there is no need for comments like that.
Everyone in this thread has been reasonable even Mr THX as there was no sale agreed at the time that he posted, some other people have posted ideas/suggestions for avoiding any confusion in the future, the only thing that could be considered incorrect is that those comments should have maybe been posted in the ideas and suggestions forum rather than in this thread. Their intentions were only to make things run smoothly and reduce/eliminate any possible similar future occurrences. I’ll repeat that it is up to the seller to decide who they wish to sell their goods to, nobody else here including the staff can possibly enforce anything else. Lets all be nice please
