Apple announces new sub-notebook...
... at a price!
BBC NEWS | Technology | Apple announces ultra-thin laptop From $1799 in the US, £1199 in the UK. No DVD drive, 80GB hard drive or a 64GB solid state drive for an extra $999.  Or you can have the even more portable Asus eee PC for £250 and falling. Yes I know it's not really comparable, but neither is the price! Am I just an old cynic or what?
