Apple's iLife and iPhoto – Critical vulnerabilities.

Versions of Apple's iLife and iPhoto programs are vulnerable to malicious data feeds which could compromise and damage a Mac OSX system; the vulnerability is caused by an error when handling Photocast XML feeds and can be exploited via a Photocast XML feed with a specially crafted "title" tag. The vulnerability is rated by Secunia as 'Highly Critical'.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability requires that the user e.g. is tricked into subscribing to a malicious Photocast feed. Do not follow or subscribe to untrusted links to Photocast feeds.

There is no patch available at the present time.
