OK I have decided to clean my desk and noticed two very dirty LCD monitor screens........anyone any advice what to use to clean them?

sandpaper?

I use a soft cloth and the same bog standard window cleaner I use for my crt... does the trick.

Soft cloth and some window cleaner ........might have a soft cloth but no window cleaning solution

A drop of washing-up liquid? (tiny drop, or you'll never get it off )

Just cleaned my monitor, P-E, 'cos I installed Pantone huey (now the colours on my monitor look funny) + used the goodies they provided: Klear LCD/laptop/computer Screen Cleaner, comes in a sachet like a travel wet wipe (which is exactly what it is), then the soft cloth also included. I'm sure these are available to buy on their own, if you want to do your monitor properly

I wonder if LCD Monitors have the same kind of protective coating as Plasma screens .....only reason I say, is because with plasmas normal cleaning agents damage the coating & it costs £100's to recoat it
