Freeware to permanently delete private data on PC ?
Can any computer geeks advise of any freeware software that allows you to permanently erase/delete any data that remains on "so called" empty disk space. Just I want to sell my old PC with operating system intact, but any private data deleted for good

Darik's Boot & Nuke Lets you make a bootable disk/CD that wipe a HDD to US DoD requirements. |

But for delete while you work I use xplorer2 as my file browser and it has a built in shredder.
