Help with PCI firewire card

Hi everyone,
I bought an Intex PCI firewire card for my MSI prescott processor motherboard with AGP video. I tried installing it in all the PCI ports. The PC wont post. It will start up and just sit there. I remove the card and everything is fine. Help anyone?
Thanks in advance

Re: Help with PCI firewire card

It sounds like the card itself is faulty.

Can you try it in another computer just to make sure?
