Can anyone tell me where on the internet I can dump large image files and allow other people to download them?
I currently use BT internet total broadband, if that helps? |

Re: Hosting large files/pictures.
If you trust them you could just give them the FTP logon details for your host. otherwise just try Googling for free hosting.

Re: Hosting large files/pictures.
You can get 1gb free from Google with Picasa Web Albums, I've never used it myself so I don't know if there's a limit on individual file size.

Re: Hosting large files/pictures.
YouSendIt - Send large files - transfer delivery - FTP Replacement is what I use all the time. Up to 100MB files and 1GB/month for free. You need to register to send but not to receive

Re: Hosting large files/pictures.
If you are not bothered about the copyright there is a forum that actually encourages very large resolution files. They do however do claim the right to be able to use your pictures commercially as they see fit. I cannot remember the forum name as as soon as I read the T&Cs I lost all interest.

Re: Hosting large files/pictures.
The type of stuff I was thinking of uploading aspires to be mediocre, so I'm not worried about that.

Re: Hosting large files/pictures.
Try Media Fire
The service is free, offers unlimited disk space, and requires no sign-up to use any of the site's features. The files can be up to 100MB in size. |
