Internet Explorer 7
Installed this a few weeks ago - looked much like Firefox and had some additional functions........
BUT Started to get strange problems - IE7 would close when clicking on links / new tabs System ground to a halt - hogged all memory - with only IE7 running Response times suffered. Searched on Google and MSN's own forums - guess what - it seems everyone is complaining about the same problems - I followed their advice and removed IE7 - it defaulted back to IE6 and all is ok again. Thought I would share this ........ Simon |

Re: Internet Explorer 7
You're not alone.
I uninstalled mine within two days. Sadly it took a number of other bits with it during removal. |

Re: Internet Explorer 7
There's an IE7? LOL!
![]() Been using Maxthon for years (tabbed windows) and, more recently, Firefox as well. So have no need for IE7! |

Re: Internet Explorer 7
There has been too much problems /faults reported about IE7 and its a bugger to uninstall.
Rule no 1 never rush to install a new software version, unless you have to. No 2 Do a system restore point, it might help. No 3 If you know what you are doing, and i stress doing you can run Hijack it and that should totall uninstall any thing you want. But be warned this is a drastic measure. Altanatively leave it as it is and run firefox or maxthon which i have heard is good. I run IE 6 and firefox, no probs with them so far. |
