lightroom query...

hi - got a quick query regarding lightroom...

when I view my pics on it - the image gets rendered ok - but whe it's rendered the image goes brighter...any idea on why..? - just prefer the brightness when its being rendered...

At first it imports the file, then it applies your in camera settings for various things depending on the camera make and model for example white balance, contrast etc

Not that I know of built in BUT just zero everything exposure, brightness, sharpness contrast etc etc then save it as a preset. Then you could apply it and view the difference in Split screen.


oops it's already there as a preset "General Zeroed"

If you shoot in RAW then it loads up the RAW file with no camera settings.

Someone please confirm this to me

It will use the WB as shot - but you can change that. If you are meaning saturation contrast and sharpening for the camera settings - they have no effect when shooting in RAW.
