O' misery, misery

Due to recent problems with a RAM upgrade, I decided to return the RAM to Crucial.
I used their online returns form to request a RMA number to allow the returm of the RAM modules.

The following is an extract from the e-mail I have just recieved.

Thank you for contacting Lexar Crucial. Due to higher than anticipated
seasonal demand, we expect to reply to your e-mail within 5 to 7
business days.

For faster service, you may also contact our online chat service at
http://www.crucial.com/uk/support, Monday through Friday, 08.30 a.m. to
5.30p.m.

The question I have to ask is; why does it take 5-7 days to get a reply.

I feel another strong letter, to the Managing Director, in the offing.

Just ring them up, they answer the phone within a few rings and arrange a return very quickly. They replaced some memory for me from Scotland to Germany in 48 hours.
