Opera releases Opera 9
BitTorrent included By INQUIRER newsdesk: Tuesday 20 June 2006, 10:42 OPERA SOFTWARE has released version 9 of its PC web browser Opera. The browser boasts a number of enhancements, the firm reckons. It's faster, more secure and smarter than before says Opera's CEO, Jon S. von Tetzchner. "Increased speed, new Web standards support and innovative features such as widgets and BitTorrent," are all part of the new offering he proclaimed. The integration of BitTorrent into the browser will do doubt annoy some. You can download the browser for Windows, Mac, Linux and other platforms from Opera.com here. µ

Dave,
Ive been using opera for some time now & I think it's a lot better than Firefox. Everything works very well & I found it faster & by default has the sidebar & notes facility which I find realy usefull plus Iv'e never had a page that wouldn't display properly,Ill downlod & try the later version & see how it goes.
