Pantone makes colour calibration cheap and cheerful
CES 007 Introducing Huey PANTONE HAS a neat little device for all those colour calibration buffs out there called the Huey, pun intended. It is a little wand that you plug into your PC to calibrate the colour, then it sits on your desk keeping it up to date with ever changing conditions. Re: Pantone makes colour calibration cheap and cheerful
Yes, I've been eyeing this one out for a while. Still haven't decided which route to go re: colour management, but this one is a good starting point + my favourite at the mo'.

Re: Pantone makes colour calibration cheap and cheerful
I've been thinking about getting one of these for a while but is it really as good as a spyder for calibrating considering it's half the price?

Re: Pantone makes colour calibration cheap and cheerful
It's not that it's half the price Shadow: Spyder2 Express is the ColorVision equivalent of Pantone's Huey, i.e. just an entry level monitor calibrator consisting solely of a colourimeter (being the hardware which sits on your monitor) + the relevant software. Each manufacturer also has higher level products. Search for "Colour Management" on this site to see them all.
