RAW Editor?

Right guys, I want a free RAW editor that KEEPS THE SETTINGS FROM MY CAMERA. Does one exist? What I mean is, when I open my RAW photos in PictureProject (I hate that program), they have all the things set , like saturation WB etc, like I set them in-camera, but when I open my photos in RAW Shooter | Essentials, they don't have any of the settings, and I can't seem to get them back to how they were from the camera.
Is there a program that is free, not PictureProject or NikonView, that keeps the settings from the camera so that I don't have to do as much processing, or loose some of the features of my images?

Thanks,

Jack M

PS: Camera is Nikon D50, I also have photoshop CS8, but does this keep the settings? Also it is quite cumbersome to use for small amounts of editing...

Re: RAW Editor?

Free????

Well, the only free, fully fledged RAW editor I know of is Raw Therapee. Don't know if you'll like it, but nothing to lose!

Re: RAW Editor?

Takes a while to load images, but the results are pretty spot on actually, dunno if it was what they came out like from the camera, but they look good so far
Thanks!
