Remember to encrypt
Once upon a .............
Got my new (used) laptop - started to put all my software on - and found I need to do windows updates............ Couldn't remember my router key password  No worries though - did a network search and used my neighbours unprotected service all afternoon - all updates complete and software loaded - bit of surfing to make sure everything worked ok  Finally remembered where I had written my key down - and yes I did go round and inform the neighbour ( and complimented him on speed of connection). Moral being - ENCRYPT THAT CONNECTION Simon |

thats why i have no intention to go wireless!.........lol my bb speed is only 512 as it is! lol

 You think you have problems at 512....my 1MB service has been running at 50K for weeks now ...darn BT & Virgin trying to pass the buck

lol i didint say it was actually running at that speed, thats the speed i pay for! lol the fastest i think it has gone is about 25k lol but then i dont download etc that much so its no bother to me....

Well my borrowed connection was fine
 Just as well as the windows updates alone were over 100mb - then there were about 90mb for CS2 and loads of other bits.......... Hope he wasn't on a limited service Simon |
