stop errors
Hiya all, well I had a new pc built for me before crimbo and its an all dancing dual core thingy with loads of memory etc etc, however over the last 2 days it keep stopping and rebooting itself, the windows message says it is something to do with graphics card. I have got the latest driver installed and turned off hardware acceleration, anybody got any other ideas as I wont see the chap who built for a few days yet and it's getting really annoying.

If you have a graphics chip built into motherboard , you could remove graphics card & run off the otherone to prove if it's the card or s/w. Also try reseating the card just in case it's a connection problem.

Did it by any chance do this after trying to view windows media files, as this kept happening to me until I installed new Via drivers for my Motherboard

Cheers for the replies, I think that it did start after viewing wmf yes.
The graphics card is built into the mb. |

Ok so I ive spent ages trying to sort this out, looking up error logs on google and the like and resetting it to an earlier time etc etc. eventually I used crap cleaner and it seems to have resolved the issue.

Gary, there is a program called Soft Sandra and you can download a free version of it called Soft Sandra Lite from this link.
