Where can I get a new computer with Windows XP?
I know Dell still sell laptops with XP but because of demand, there is a two week delay in delivery and I really need to get sorted this weekend as my pc has died.
Does anyone know of anywhere else that might still sell XP on new computers? |

Have a look at these
Microdirect.co.uk Komplett.co.uk Novatech Saverstore.com Rlsupplies.co.uk Scan.co.uk dabs.com - PC Hardware, Components, Software, Digital Cameras, MP3 Players I've used them all with no probs!! Not sure how quick they could get you one though and not sure if they all do complete systems but worth a look, if they do you can usually customise them to include XP rather than vista |

I was a bit concerned when my new work lappy had a 'Microsoft Vista' label next to the keyboard... but relieved when I discovered it had been rebuilt as XP.

Try tigerdirect.com
You can buy a bar bones box and then order xp on the side you can do it for a good price and get what you want in the unit. You should have all your other software to load. Just a thought. |

Phew! I've bitten the bullet and bought a laptop from Komplett. I shall reserve final judgement on them until it arrives but, so far, their Customer Service has been exemplary!

Well, the laptop arrived from Komplett within three days and Komplett sent me a tracking number so I could see where it was at all times. Very imnpressed. The laptop is great as well and does at lest have XP. Unlike my new desktop which will, unfortunately, have Vista.

Yes Komplett's great bought many a component from them and mate at work has just bought a complete system from them and he was well chuffed.
