Windows Vista RAW (.NEF) File Viewer
Dear all,
I've just "upgraded" to Vista Home Premium but have since found out that the RAW file viewer I was using was XP only. Spent quite some time trying to hunt down a Vistat version but to no avail. All links either end up in the "404" room or mentioning an update is due soon, but that was ages ago. Does anyone know if an update is available for Windows Photo Gallery? Many thanks, Ian |

I've had a similar problem in that Canon do a RAW image plugin for Vista but only for 32bit.
Makes me wonder why Microsnot produce 64bit software at all. I now use Fastone veiwer and have come to quite like it, however it does grieve me that we seem to have taken a backwards step on what was supposed to be an operating system aimed at multimedia. If you want more EXIF data then there's a pretty good program called
Opanda Exif It runs in the background in Vista and gives you all you need. One of the demo versions even alows basic data editing so you can put your own name in the exif data  |
