P&P £5.00. not much feedback to speak of. Too good to be true? |

Re: Hmm what do you think?
Mmmm no real feedback for the last 90 days, no Paypal means your not covered by their protection scheme (although this is pretty useless anyway).
If the seller was willing to meet after the auction and accept cash, then maybe. |

Re: Hmm what do you think?
Well, I have to say I don't think the price is so low as to warrant suspicion, it is a good price but not remarkable. In terms of the feedback, he has only one negative and that was a long time ago and from a person who is no longer an Ebay registered member which often means they were dodgy anyway! The rest is all positive.
My only concern is when someone says 'direct bank transfer only.' In this day and age, why would someone insist on you putting a considerable sum of money directly into their bank account (something that cannot be reversed once done, even if the goods don't arrive!) when you could pay them via cheque and then wait for it to clear. Also the person says No Paypal but further down in the listing, shows Paypal as one of his options. That is the bit that is sounding alarm bells for me, not the price. I think I would be cautious on that basis unless, as Ian said, he is prepared to let you go and pick it up and pay cash. NOTE: you don't actually have to go and pick it up. Just ask if you can and let him think that's what you would want in order to bid. If he is genuine he'll say yes. You can then just say you'll stick to him posting it :o) Cheers, Rob

Re: Hmm what do you think?
Where's he got that from, I wonder? Two year warranty if returned to the States or Hong Kong?
If it is brand new, it won't be UK stock, that's for sure.Sorry for being sceptical, but I'd never buy anything of that value off eBay. |
