Hello first of all thank you for reading this thread , I am very interested in buying an Interfit EXD200 monolight and went to a store to try it out, now the sales person told me that the EX150 and EXD200 are compatible with Elinchrom's accesories, nevertheless in the past sale people have lied to me in order for me to make the purchase... So the question is is it true does the EXD200 can use Elinchrom's accs?????

I don't know the answer to this, I'm afraid... but I remember reading somewhere that Elinchrom use a 7mm slot in their monolights, which is slightly smaller than many competitors. I think the usual Interfit fitting is s-shaped, too.

I would check with someone else before trusting that advice, just to make sure.

Thanks gainfulshrimp , the person told me that the reflectors and speedrings from elinchrom were compatible with the interfit EXD200 and EX150 but like you said it is better to check first

FWIW I received confirmation from Interfit that the EXD200 is compatible with Elinchrom's line of accesories
